Data protection (PDPL)
How Seerty handles your personal data under Bahrain’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018), in plain words.

What we process, why, and for how long

Consent
We ask for your agreement before you download, before you publish a profile and before you send a message. When you download or publish, we record when you agreed and to which version of the texts. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your data, and that does not affect what we did before.
Sensitive information
You do not need to give us anything sensitive. Please do not put your religion, health, ethnic origin or similar details in your resume unless you really want them there: whatever you type is used only to make your file, but you are the one who decides what your CV says.
Your rights and how to use them
- Delete: the “Delete my data” button at the bottom of the builder removes your order, your draft and your public page immediately.
- See, copy, correct, restrict or object: use the contact page and choose “My data”, or write to halhakeem2@gmail.com.
- How fast: we answer within 15 working days. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so that nobody else can get your data.
Transfers outside Bahrain
Our server is in Bahrain, so your data stays in Bahrain.
Security and breaches
- No advertising trackers and no third-party analytics.
- Imported files are never written to disk.
- Orders, saved profile details and contact messages are stored encrypted on the server. The key is kept apart from the backups.
- Order links and profile edit keys are long, private and signed. Anyone who has one can use it, so keep it private.
- If a breach is likely to put your data or rights at risk, we will tell you and the Personal Data Protection Authority as the law requires.
Complaints
Please tell us first, so we can fix it. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority in Bahrain.
