Privacy policy

1. Who we are

We decide why and how your personal data is used, so under Bahrain’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018) we are the data controller. A shorter, practical summary is on the data protection page.

2. What we collect, and why

• The details you type or import into the form (name, email, phone, city, links, work history, projects, education, skills, certifications, languages). We use them to draw your preview and your PDF, and to check your resume for ATS problems.
• A file or text you use with “Import”. It is read in memory to fill the form. It is not saved, not written to disk and not logged. Only the result goes back to your browser.
• An order record, created when you download. It holds the resume details above, your template choice, the order number, the payment status, amount and reference, and dates. We keep it so you can download again and edit for 30 days.
• A public profile page, only if you choose to publish one. We store what you choose to show on it. If you also allow visitors to download your CV from the page, we keep your full resume for that page so we can create the file, and anyone with the link can download it, contact details included.
• Messages you send us through the contact form: your name, email, the topic and your text. We use them only to answer you.
• Anonymous usage counts (visits, downloads, imports and similar). For unique visitors we use a one-way code that changes every day. We do not store your IP address, browser details or any cookie.

We do not use advertising trackers, social-media pixels or third-party analytics, and we do not sell your data.

3. What is kept on your own device

Your draft and your order link are saved in your browser’s local storage so that your work is still there when you come back. This is needed for the site to work, it is not used to track you, and it never leaves your device until you preview or download. “Delete my data” (at the bottom of the page) or your browser settings remove it.

4. Why we may use it

Your consent (the box you tick before downloading, a separate one before publishing a profile, and one before sending a message) and what is needed to give you the service you asked for. You can withdraw consent at any time; that does not affect what was done before.

5. How long we keep it

• Preview images are held briefly in the server’s memory and are not saved to disk.
• Checkouts that are never completed are deleted after 24 hours.
• Orders: your access ends 30 days after you download or pay. The order record is deleted 30 days after that, so at most about 60 days in total. You can delete it sooner yourself.
• If you paid, the payment record (order number, amount, date, payment reference) is kept after you delete your data, because accounting rules require it. It contains none of your resume details.
• Public profile pages: until you delete them.
• Contact messages: 90 days, then deleted.
• Our hosting provider may keep short-term technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security.

6. Who receives it

Only the services we need to run the site: our hosting provider. They may process your data only for us.

The service is free during the beta: no payment is taken and no payment details are collected.

7. Where it is processed

Our server is in Bahrain, so your data stays in Bahrain.

8. Your rights

You may ask to see your data, get a copy, correct it, delete it, restrict its use or object to it. The quickest way to delete is the “Delete my data” button at the bottom of the site: it removes your order, your saved draft and your public page. For anything else use the contact page (choose “My data”) or write to halhakeem2@gmail.com. We answer within 15 working days. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we give out or change anything. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority in Bahrain.

9. Security

We protect your data in transit and restrict who can reach it. The orders, saved profile details and contact messages we keep are stored encrypted on the server, and the key is kept apart from the backups. Anyone with your private order link can see your order, so do not share that link. If a security breach is likely to put your data or rights at risk, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

10. Children

The service is for people applying for jobs. It is not directed at children under 16.

11. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we change the version date and ask you to agree again. Current version: 2026-09-21.
